Guiding staff to Management positions

Donna has been employed by us (Millhall Pty Ltd - Pro Cuts Hairdressing Salon) to turn this Hair Salon from an also-run to an upbeat Professional happy Salon in a very short space of time. Donna has been very professional in the way she has gelled the existing staff of the Salon with the new staff coming in, also guiding some staff to Management positions. Donna has created a good working enviroment and a good team who now work professionally together. Donna has also raised productivity in the Salon by taking the staff individually to the side and showing them what they are capable of.

Great management skills

Donna coming into the Salon, at first I was very unsure about her and why she had been brought in. Until I got to know her, and understood more about her and what exactly her career was about. In short she really has shown me some great management skills to work productively and communicate efectively within the Salon as a team player, and will definately take me into the future. It has been good to have someone come into our Salon with a totally different aspect on life. Donna has helped all of us in one way or another. I will be forever grateful I had a chance to meet her.

Helping me realize the things I was capable of

Upon starting my Apprentiship my first year it was exciting, I was motivated and very willing, although by the end of my first year everything started to go downhill. My motivation started to slowly subside, and I felt I was not moving forward or achieving all I could in my chosen field. So each day I went to work and that is all it was to me, as there were many problems within management and salon. So I just kept floating along instead of doing something about it. Unitl I met Donna and she became a member of our staff. The first few days were hard as there was a new lady Donna and had started to change things. I really disliked it, but then Donna and myself had a talk and I then realised Donna was here to help the salon run the way it was suppose to. All the while helping me realize the things I was capable of. Donna helped me realize that I am capable of doing anything I want to do, all I had to do was make the choice and put my mind to it. Instead of standing around and feeling sorry for myself. She also has helped me realize if iI have a problem - to address the situation instead of holding it in. As it only causes myself and everyone else around ME to be miserable. So each day I go to work looking forward to more and more challenges and valued lessons to be learned, as I now know I can face them and anything put infront of me.

Life Coaching Academy

My connection to Donna Day has been made through the Life Coaching Academy with whom Donna is doing her professional training in support of her business as an author, coach and trainer. I was invited to be Donna’s mentor as a part of that training, being a Life Coaching Academy - trained coach myself.

This mentoring process is still on-going and in the sessions we have done together it is easy to tell that Donna is a highly motivated lady and fully committed to success both in her business and all aspects of her life. Very much her own woman, she brings a spirit of uniqueness to everything she does and is a true expert at exploring all possible avenues towards helping others to achieve their goals.
